Alessandro Crevani has been the General Manager of General Medicine at Sanofi Italy and Malta since 2021.

Born in Pavia in September 1973, he graduated in Pharmacy with a focus on Oncology and Hospital Pharmacy studies from the University of Pavia.

With a career spanning over two decades, Alessandro has demonstrated exceptional skills in managing and developing corporate strategies, marketing strategies, market access, sales, medical affairs, and excelling in product launches at both national and global levels in the fields of oncology, immunology, hematology, urology, cardiovascular, and metabolic disorders.

Throughout his extensive career, Alessandro has held various roles of increasing responsibility at national and international levels in leading global biopharmaceutical companies, including Schering Plough, Sanofi, and Sanofi Genzyme. His dedication and expertise have led him to significant roles within different departments of Sanofi, where he has made substantial contributions to the access and launch of major innovative biologic therapies in Italy.

Alessandro is passionate about healthcare modernization, digital health, artificial intelligence, and all innovations that impact public health. He firmly believes in the social value of the pharmaceutical industry and its employees in creating a positive impact on the community. His leadership has been pivotal in the creation and development of Sanofi's Immunology Franchise, positioning the company as a leader in the sector.

Outside of work, Alessandro enjoys running, cycling, and off-road competitions. He is fluent in English and French, in addition to his native Italian.
